The World Mission Commission is a commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, formed at the request of Bishop James Stanton in 2002. The commission was founded by Diane Stanton and commission members from throughout the diocese for the purpose of increasing mission awareness and providing mission training and support. Our goal is to serve as a resource to every parish in the diocese.

Come join us! Get involved in God’s mission to the whole world.

Guiding Scripture:
The guiding scripture for the World Mission Commission is Jesus’ Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
